We need to work together to create solutions and not just talk about problems. If we are going to make progress in the future, we need to ditch the partisanship in Madison. As a moderate Democrat, I don't believe that either party has a monopoly on good ideas. 

Moreover, our legislators don't respect our values or our voice when they take money from PACs and lobbyists and then propose and write laws on behalf of special interests. That's why I won't accept PAC or lobbyist money. I work for you. Period.

People need to come before politics.

And progress needs to come before party.
